How Drew Brees isn’t always a key to victory for the New Orleans Saints is a mystery to me, but what he has done over the last few weeks will certainly play a factor. Michael Thomas has not caught a touchdown in two weeks, but that is because Brees has done what the best will do and turn essential nobodies into somebodies.

In the dominating win over the Atlanta Falcons, Brees did something only he could do and threw touchdowns to four players that were undrafted free agents. Keith Kirkwood, Dan Arnold, Austin Carr and Tommylee Lewis all scored in the win and Kirkwood even picked up his second touchdown last week.

This will force the Buccaneers to expand their coverage beyond Alvin Kamara and Thomas and know that everyone is a potential threat to score. The Saints should also get rookie Tre’Quan Smith, who tore up the Philadelphia Eagles two weeks ago, back 100 percent healthy this week as well.
