New Orleans Saints: 5 Reasons Team Will Repeat In NFC South

The New Orleans Saints won the NFC South division crown in 2017, their first championship since 2011. The team did not lose much from last year and they are looking to repeat as champions in 2018, something that has only been done once in the division’s 17-year history when the Carolina Panthers three-peated from 2013-2015.

New Orleans certainly has all the right tools to make a run at not only the division, but the Lombardi Trophy as well. In 2017, they were a Marcus Williams missed tackle away from advancing to the NFC Championship Game for only the third time in their history and they are poised to do just that again in 2018. Not having much to replace on either side of the ball is a great way to start for this team.

The Saints have weapons on both sides of the ball and it would be a shock to much of the NFL if the team failed to win the championship again in 2018, much less miss the playoffs. Here are five reasons why the New Orleans Saints will repeat as NFC South champions in 2018.
