New York Giants: The Possibility of Going 0-16 Is Real

The New York Giants will begin the first month of their season against two playoff teams and two who missed it due to devastating injuries.

Jacksonville Jaguars (Sep. 9): The Jags will be looking to start the season off strong after a heartbreaking loss in the AFC Championship game. Despite the addition of Barkley and the return of Beckham, the Jags’ defense will lock down both players causing Manning to improvise, which is never a good thing. (Jaguars win)

@Dallas Cowboys (Sep. 16): There is nothing easy about a divisional game and the Giants will have to travel to Cowboys Stadium looking for their first win of the season. The Cowboys will be another team on a mission doing their best to put 2017 behind them. The Giants defense will not be able to contain Ezekiel Elliott and Allen Hurns. Barkley will have a huge game but it won’t be enough on the road. (Cowboys win)

@Houston Texans (Sep. 23): These will not be the same Texans who won just four games in 2017. God-willing, the Texans will be at full health and that means Deshaun Watson ad J.J. Watt will head out of their home tunnel ready to play. As awful as the Giants’ offensive line is, Watt may have a career day. If the Giants can manage to keep Watt bottled up and somehow contain the explosive Jackson, the G-Men may have a chance. However, this is on the road and the Texans have a lot to prove. (Texans win)

New Orleans Saints (Sep. 30): The Saints’ game begins a stretch for the New York Giants where they will play four straight games against teams with Super Bowl aspirations. Although the Saints game will be at Metlife Stadium, when has the cold weather ever affected Drew Brees? The Giants surrendered 252 yards through the air while their secondary gave up a league-worst 32 touchdowns. (Saints win)
