Philadelphia Eagles vs. San Francisco 49ers

The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off of the weirdest result in sports: a tie. They’ll now face a 49ers team that is beset by injuries, but they’ve still found ways to win.

For the 49ers, they just need Nick Mullens to manage games until Jimmy Garappolo returns. If you’re San Francisco, you just don’t want Mullens to lose the game for you by forcing plays offensively.

In a weird twist, no team in the NFC East has less than six turnovers, but unfortunately for Philadelphia, the Eagles lead the division — and the NFL — in turnovers with eight.

Despite all of the 49ers injuries, and there are several, you don’t usually win in the NFL if you continually commit turnovers. If the Eagles can’t win the turnover battle, they likely won’t win the game, either.
