Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders

Week 2 matchup: vs. New Orleans Saints, Monday, Sept. 21

Carr goes for 300+ yards

There were just five quarterbacks in Week 1 that threw for 300 or more yards. Carr was not one of them as he finished with 239 yards against the Panthers.

On Monday night, he will face an explosive offense and will have to do his best to keep up. This is not saying that the Raiders will be able to score enough to win the game, but Carr will have to throw the ball a lot, especially if they are playing from behind. There is enough weapons in Las Vegas for Carr to finish with 300 yards.

Pick six

The Saints were able to get a pick six against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Janoris Jenkins jumped an out route and was able to take it into the end zone. Why can’t they get another this week?

The Saints’ defense is the best it has been in a long time. They are going to be an impressive unit taking the ball away and making big time plays.
