NFL: 2 bold predictions for each QB in the NFC North in Week 1

In Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season, there are some very exciting NFC North rivalry games on the schedule. The Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings will face off with each other while the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions are set to match up, too.

While the story in Chicago was the QB battle this offseason, Mitchell Trubisky will be under center for the Bears. However, with the extra pressure of Nick Foles behind him, what kind of game can we expect from the highly debated quarterback? It will be interesting to see if there are any noticeable changes in Week 1 as Chicago takes on the Lions.

Meanwhile, the Vikings and Packers will be clashing in Minnesota. While the Packers swept the Vikings last year, Kirk Cousins and company are out to prove they are the top dog in the North. Will the departure of Stefon Diggs hurt the Vikings’ chances? Monitoring Cousins’ play without his top deep threat should be interesting. This Vikings’ offense may look to spread the ball around to different receivers.

While the two QBs with the most tenure are set to return, their offenses are going through changes. How will the Lions’ Matthew Stafford and Packers’ Aaron Rodgers fare with a more run-first approach this year? The battle for the NFC North title starts in Week 1.

Here are two bold predictions for each quarterback in the NFC North in Week 1.
