Week 2 matchup: at Dallas Cowboys, Sunday, Sept. 20

Ryan attempts 50 passes once again

The Falcons had the ball in the air 54 times in their season opener. This was because they fell behind the Seahawks early. The Dallas Cowboys lost in Los Angeles and will look to avoid an 0-2 start in Jerry’s world in this one. The defense of the Cowboys looked vulnerable, despite giving up just 20 points.

Leighton Vander Esch is hurt once again after suffering a broken collarbone. There are holes in the secondary which means Atlanta could throw the ball a lot once again.

Ryan is not sacked in the game

This is an ultimate bold prediction because teams usually pick up at least one sack in a game, even if it is by accident. The Falcons allowed just two sacks in Week 1 against a good pass rush in Seattle. On the other hand, Dallas sacked Jared Goff just one time in their Sunday night loss.

The ball could be out of Ryan’s hands quick in this game. If he is given time to drive the ball down the field, Ryan could have a field day.
