Russell Wilson Will Throw Four Touchdowns…Again!

The Seahawks took advantage of a young Falcons secondary last week. Russell Wilson was phenomenal throwing for 322 passing yards and four touchdowns, all while completing 88.6% of his throws. However, this week they are facing a very tough Patriots secondary.

While he may not have the yards or complete percentage to match, Russ will once again throw four TDs. As good as the Patriots defense may be, there is no accounting for Russell’s brilliance. This year will be the year Wilson finally gets some MVP love, and it will be well deserved.

Russell Wilson Will Not Be Sacked

The Seahawks’ offensive line is very suspect. Despite the blowout victory last week, Atlanta still got to Russ three times. However, the Falcons do have a very good pass rush. The Patriots only managed to bring down Ryan Fitzpatrick once last week.

The Dolphins o-line is not much better than Miami’s. Fitzpatrick is nowhere near the athlete Wilson is. Russ will go untouched this week and we start to see how much the offseason losses will affect this Patriots defense.

Final Word: The Russell Wilson MVP campaign train got off to a roaring start last week against Atlanta. The Patriots defense was as dominant as ever last week against Miami. One challenger will rise, the other will fall this week. My money is on Russell Wilson to deliver another stellar performance.
