Carson Wentz
Finishes a playoff game
Carson Wentz has struggled with injuries over his career. He has played in only 1 playoff game for a team that won the Super Bowl during his second season. As special as he has been when he is on the field, staying healthy has been his biggest deterrent.
Given that he has been unable to stay healthy come playoff time, bold prediction number one is that he will be able to remain healthy. The Eagles have enough talent and play in a division that is up for grabs, so securing a playoff spot should be the goal for this team. The Eagles will make the playoffs in the wild card round and Carson Wentz will play the entire game.
30+ Touchdowns with 10+ Interceptions
Carson Wentz has only thrown over 30 touchdowns in one season (2017) and over 10 interceptions once during his rookie year in 2016, but they will both happen again in 2020. The Eagles made it a priority to upgrade the wide receiver position during the offseason.
Drafting three different wide receivers with Jalen Reagor leading the way in the first round went along with free-agent signee Marquise Goodwin. There is bound to be improvement in the wide receiver corps with all these new additions and Carson Wentz will have more talent around him than he has in recent years.
The downside to so many new faces is that communication could be an issue throughout the season, especially with shortened preseason. With a higher ceiling comes a lower floor for Carson Wentz this year.
