Dak Prescott
Career High MVP Votes
Dak Prescott set the world on fire last year in terms of passing yards with over 4,900 in one season, but the Cowboys still struggled as a team. Prescott has received a lone MVP vote over the course of his career and that was way back in his rookie season. He has put up good numbers and become a clear franchise quarterback for Dallas but has not made splashes on a national stage.
This year the young quarterback will break through and make some noise on a national landscape. Dallas will always give Ezekiel Elliott a lion’s share of carries as one of the best running backs in the NFL, but Dak has enough weapons this year that he will demand his share of passes.
Drafting CeeDee Lamb adds to any already talented wide receiver room consisting of Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup. With the threat of Elliott breaking through on any run, and now added to Lamb and Cooper being able to take the top off the defense, Dak will have plenty of space to make magic happen. His increased stats will put him right up there in the conversation for NFL MVP at the end of the season.
Leads Dallas to a First Round Bye
With such a talented offense Dallas should be able to score points to keep up with anybody. Even with some injuries to defensive additions, this team is poised to break out of the Cowboy mold and perform to the level of their talent.
Dak will be instrumental in carrying his team and stepping up to show that he deserves a massive contract extension. With everything to play for this year, Dak becomes a man on a mission. Dallas will be one of the best offensive teams in the NFL and Dak will take his turn in the spotlight.
