NFL: 3 Wide Receivers To Keep An Eye On In 2020

Will Fuller (Houston Texans)

Deandre Hopkins is gone. This means that full responsibility will now fall on the often-injured shoulders of Will Fuller. Can he deliver? Fuller is entering his 5th year in the NFL and he finally has the spotlight to himself. Injuries has limited his numbers. In four seasons, Fuller has missed 23 games.

Why did the Houston Texans make such a bold move by trading Hopkins knowing Fuller cannot be trusted to stay on the field a full 16 games?

In 2019, Fuller caught 49 passes for 670 yards and three touchdowns. For his career, Fuller has never caught more than 50 passes in a single season. So, to have him as a No. 1 option is risky for the Texans.

Now, Deshaun Watson will have to rely on a player he doesn’t have the proper chemistry with or the same that he had with Hopkins. All eyes will be on Fuller as he will go from single coverage to possibly double coverage.
