NFL Free Agency 2020: 4 ideal landing spots for safety Eric Berry

Indianapolis Colts

One of the teams that reportedly had some level of interest in signing Eric Berry earlier this offseason was the Indianapolis Colts. Berry has a connection with general manager Chris Ballard and would make a lot of sense for the Colts.

Indianapolis has had quite a few weaknesses on the defensive side of the football over the last few years. Safety hasn’t necessarily been one of their biggest weaknesses, but a healthy and resurgent Berry would be a major upgrade for them.

Berry would be a nice addition late in free agency for a Colts team that is looking to get into Super Bowl contention. They added DeForest Buckner and Xavier Rhodes to their defense already this offseason. Making the move to sign Berry would make a lot of sense.
