3. New York Jets
The current expectation in the AFC East is for the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots to remain atop the standings. In order to better position themselves to compete, the New York Jets need to continue to look for ways to improve ahead of the 2020 season.
Earlier in the offseason, the Jets lost Robby Anderson to free agency but added Breshad Perriman and Denzel Mims into the mix. Additionally, they made needed changes throughout the offensive line. There is real potential for the overall unit to improve as a whole.
There is still outlook for the Jets to improve at the tight end spot to complete their offseason. The projected starter is Chris Herndon and while he showed promise two season ago most notably, the Jets could use David Njoku to further bolster this spot.
