1. Patrick Mahomes vs. Houston Texans

It’s expected for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to put up big performances. A re-match against the Houston Texans is a favorable matchup for the 2018 NFL MVP to be able to put up big numbers.

The Texans face plenty of holes on defense entering the 2020 season and each will be exploited by a high-octane offense like the Chiefs. The interior defensive line and secondary will be particularly problematic for Houston in 2020.

Let’s not forget, during the Chiefs’ 51-31 win over the Texans in the AFC Divisional Round, Mahomes completed 23-of-35 (65.7%) pass attempts for 321 yards and five touchdowns. He rallied the team back from a 21-0 deficit before halftime even started.

In Week 1, Mahomes should have little issue surpassing 400 yards passing and adding in at least 4 touchdown throws. The Texans offer little resistance and it will be the start of another phenomenal season for the Chiefs QB.
