New York Jets
Quite simply, the Jets have to find more help at wide receiver if they want to have a chance of making a playoff run. Sam Darnold is a quality quarterback, but he lost Robby Anderson this offseason. New York did bring in some young talent at receiver in Denzel Mims and they also signed Breshad Perriman.
However, Josh Gordon would immediately become the team’s No. 1 wide receiver. Jamison Crowder currently has that designation.
Darnold has never had a weapon as talented as Gordon. The two would be lethal, assuming Gordon’s head is on straight.
If the Jets want to make a move that will take their offense to the next level, signing Gordon would make a ton of sense for them.
