5 NFL teams who should still pursue a Yannick Ngakoue trade

Baltimore Ravens

Ravens Receive: Yannick Ngaokue and DeDe Westbrook
Jaguars Receive: 2021 Third Round Pick and a 2022 First Round Pick

This is the only scenario in which Jacksonville is giving up two players, however, there is actually plenty of depth at both positions for Jacksonville. Westbrook is a talented player, but rookie Laviska Shenault Jr. will likely serve the same role as the No. 2 option.

Chris Conley and Keelan Cole are both serviceable third and fourth options. DJ Chark is the unquestioned number one receiver. Westbrook doesn’t really fit in. In comes Baltimore, who is in need of a true secondary receiver.

One major issue the Ravens’ offense had in the playoff loss to Tennessee was the receivers’ inability to get open. Westbrook gives Lamar Jackson another solid playmaker. They also struggled with getting to the QB last season, only getting there 37 times when most teams were playing from behind. Yannick Ngakoue will add at least seven more sacks to that total.

This is a perfect fit for Baltimore, a team that is likely going for yet another Super Bowl run. The Ravens get a much-needed pass rusher, and he will be paired with former Jaguar, Calais Campbell. They also get another speedy receiver who can stretch the field in Westbrook.

A move of this kind would push the Ravens to legitimate Super Bowl favorites. On the other end, Jacksonville gains two very important draft picks to help with their rebuild.
