Julian Okwara, OLB, Detroit Lions

Up first, let’s take a look at Lions rookie linebacker Julian Okwara. He had big potential coming into the draft, but fell to the third round. Detroit happily scooped him up there.

During the 2019 season at Notre Dame, Okwara struggled a bit with just four sacks, two forced fumbles, and 18 total tackles. Back in 2018, however, he racked up 38 tackles and eight sacks.

Standing in at 6-foot-4 and nearly 250 pounds, Okwara is a very physical presence. He may not have a huge role for the Lions, but he should see the field. In limited time, Okwara should still be able to make his name known in Detroit.
