5. Logan Ryan Signs with Giants

The versatile defensive back Logan Ryan remains a free agent as he seeks a new NFL home that will allow him to play the safety position. The most fascinating part about all of it is that he is coming off a strong season as primarily a nickel corner with the Tennessee Titans.

The New York Giants should look to see if Ryan is willing to line up at different spots on defense. The team signed James Bradberry in free agency but will be without their other top two corners. Bringing in Ryan could enable the Giants to have a chess piece to move around different spots.

There is a connection between Giants head coach Joe Judge and Ryan during their mutual time with the New England Patriots. That connection should give New York reason to trust the versatility Ryan brings to the table when pondering the possibility.

The NFC East is going to require versatile safety talent considering the Dallas Cowboys decided to add a third dynamic receiver to form an explosive trio. Not only that, the Philadelphia Eagles added an explosive element in Jalen Reagor to their offense and Miles Sanders is a breakout candidate.
