4. Josh Gordon Returns to Seahawks

The upcoming NFL season is gearing up to feature the NFC West being an absolute gauntlet of a division. The San Francisco 49ers are coming off a Super Bowl loss while the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals will likely be improved, too.

Heading into the 2020 season, the Seahawks appear set to have Phillip Dorsett in the No. 3 receiver role. That’s not going to be enough when matching up with elite defenses like the San Francisco 49ers unless he can make an improbable leap.

With Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf setting the tone, it would be interesting to see Josh Gordon return to the Seahawks. It’s important for Seattle to make it as difficult as possible for the 49ers to match up with their offense and adding an X-Factor like Gordon can achieve that.

The idea of signing Antonio Brown as an option became very complicated after his eight-game suspension. It worsened after the report came out he could see his suspension lengthened. That makes Gordon appear to have a clearer pathway as an option.
