Drew Lock, Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos drafted a pair of playmakers at wide receiver in this years draft. Drew Lock looked very good in the little amount of time he played last year. He has a strong arm, is mobile, and has the kind of aggressive mentality that makes for big plays. Over the offseason, the Broncos made it clear that they are investing in their young quarterback.

Drew Lock has a very good arm. However, he hasn’t started many games. It’s too early to crown Lock a future NFL star. However, he does have all the tools at his disposal to become a quality starting quarterback. One thing to watch this season is if he can lead Denver to the playoffs. Last season under Lock, Denver went 4-1.

Although five games is not a fair gauge on how a quarterback will play for an entire season, it is all the Broncos has to work with. It will be very interesting to see if the momentum Denver had established last season will carry over to this season. This offense has loads of potential. If they perform up to expectation, they could have one of the most exciting offenses in the NFL next season.
