The Buffalo Bills’ 2023 season was on life support heading into their Week 13 bye. They had just lost a heartbreaker of a game to the Philadelphia Eagles, falling 37-34 in overtime. It was their third loss in four games as they watched their playoff hopes slowly disappear.
Knowing they needed to turn things around starting in Week 14, the team came out ready to play. In the hostile environment of Arrowhead Stadium in Week 14, the Bills picked up a huge victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, 20-17.
The positive momentum was kept going in Week 15 when they hosted the Dallas Cowboys in Orchard Park. Buffalo dominated Dallas, winning 31-10 and improving their record to 8-6. After being as low as 12th in the standings, the Bills are now in 9th place heading into a Week 16 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.

If the Bills want to continue making a push for the postseason, that is a game they need to win. Things set up nicely for Buffalo, as Los Angeles is working through a coaching and general manager change and have backup quarterback Easton Stick starting the remainder of the season with Justin Herbert injured.
Buffalo has looked like a different team since the bye, which has some people buying back in on them as contenders in the AFC. One of those people is radio host Adam Schein, who recently made a bold prediction about the Bills for the remainder of the season.
“They’re running the table. They’re winning the AFC East. They’re beating everyone in their path. They’re making the playoffs. They’re winning the division,” said Schein.
The dominant victory over the Cowboys was certainly a confidence booster for the Bills. They found success running the ball against Dallas, which has been an issue at points in the past. But, with some balance being found offensively, they are a much more dangerous team.

If the Bills are able to run the table, they have a chance to win the AFC East title as well. If the Miami Dolphins lose in Week 16 or 17, the matchup between the rivals in Week 18 could be with the division title on the line.
But, to get to that point, the Bills need to handle business against the Chargers and New England Patriots. If they can perform at the same level in they have the last three games, including that loss to the Eagles, there aren’t many teams that are going to slow them down or beat them.
