NFL Analyst Reveals Massive Prediction For Eagles’ Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts did not exactly have his best statistical effort during his team’s win over the Kansas City Chiefs this past Sunday, but it didn’t matter: he led his team to a win.

Hurts went just 14-for-22 with 150 yards and an interception, but he punched in a couple of rushing touchdowns and made big plays when it counted to guide the Eagles to a 21-17 victory in their Super Bowl rematch.

Such has been the story of Hurts for much of his career. He is not the type of guy to put up big numbers, but he always seems to do the little things to put wins on the board.

Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless credited Hurts for his ability to always come up clutch in key situations and went as far to say that he thinks Hurts will win the MVP award.

On the season overall, Hurts has thrown for 2,497 yards, 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions while completing 68.5 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 94.8. He has also rushed for 345 yards and nine scores.

Most importantly, the Eagles have the best record in the NFL at 9-1, which matters a whole lot when it comes to the MVP voting process.

Hurts, who played his collegiate football at both the University of Alabama and the University of Oklahoma, was selected by Philadelphia in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

He became Philly’s full-time starter under center in 2021 and had a solid season, totaling 3,144 yards, 16 touchdowns and nine picks while completing 61.3 percent of his throws and registering a passer rating of 87.2. Additionally, he rushed for 784 yards and 10 scores.

Then, last year, Hurts broke out, throwing for 3,701 yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions. He completed 66.5 percent of his passes, recorded a passer rating of 101.5 and racked up 760 yards and 13 scores on the ground. He made the Pro Bowl and finished second in MVP voting as a result. Most importantly, he led the Eagles to a Super Bowl appearance.

Jalen Hurts may not be the flashiest quarterback, but he gets the job done better than almost anyone else in the NFL.

Philadelphia will take on the Buffalo Bills this Sunday.
