3. New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints have had some unfortunate luck in the playoffs over the last three years. After finishing 7-9 for three seasons in a row from 2014-2016, the Saints have won the NFC South every year since 2017 and have gone 37-11 in the regular season.
New Orleans has been knocked out in the wild card round, divisional round, and NFC Championship Game. It began with the Minnesota Miracle, followed by the brutal missed pass interference call against the Los Angeles Rams, then yet another loss to the Minnesota Vikings last year. None of this has to do with their defense, but it could not hurt to add another impact player.
The Saints have one of the best young corners in the game in Marshon Lattimore. Why not add an All-Pro like Peterson on the other side to act as a mentor? The Saints signed Drew Brees to a two-year, $50 million contract. These could very well be the final two years of his career. New Orleans will have to do all they can to win one final championship with Brees under center.
