NFL Free Agency 2021: Predicting where each notable QB will sign

The 2021 NFL free-agency class will be full of talent. Most teams have a solid foundation at quarterback. However, some are getting older and while many have enough talent to start, there are so many young quarterbacks who still need to develop.

After this season it will be interesting to see where some notable quarterbacks land. Many may sit behind older veterans to learn. Others will look to push young quarterbacks and possibly work for a starting job.

Although many of the quarterbacks on this list are veteran backups right now, they still have real talent and will need to prove themselves worthy of starting. After sitting on the bench for a season, they may be ready to compete for a starting position. It won’t be easy, but the battle will be fun to watch.

Some quarterbacks may not be ready to start. However, learning behind a seasoned veteran will help. They could learn the new scheme while soaking up the knowledge of a veteran. Many of these teams are already full of talent. They would be solid plug-and-play quarterbacks who will be serviceable and may even be able to take them on a few playoff runs.

Finding the right scheme is very important as well. In some respects, a quarterback can be as successful as the coach allows. While some quarterbacks have the talent to fit any scheme, others may need to be surrounded by talent and solid coaching.

With that being said, let’s take a look at early predictions for where notable free agent quarterbacks will sign in 2021 NFL free agency.
