NFL Free Agency 2021: Predicting where each star RB will land

Saints, Alvin Kamara, NFL Free Agency 2021

Alvin Kamara

Much like Jones, Kamara is the perfect fit for the Saints. New Orleans has a lot of big contracts. However there is a chance this is the last dance for Drew Brees. Although Brees has been the face of the Saints for over ten years, a retirement would save the Saints a lot of cap space.

This extra cap space would give them more than enough money to resign Alvin Kamara. Kamara in the backfield provides a fantastic safety net for whoever the Saints put under center.

Sean Payton loves dual-threat backs. Under Payton, the Saints have always had a pass-catching back who could absolutely exploit slower linebackers. Reggie Bush, Pierre Thomas, and Darren Sproles are just a few of these talented dual-threat backs.

However, Kamara is the back who has found the most success in this Saints system. Although he is a tremendous talent, it’s likely no coach will be able to utilize his talent better than Sean Payton. Check out why Kamara is such a difficult matchup in the Baldy Breakdown below.

New Orleans is once again a Super Bowl contender. They have a very strong defense. The offense is among the leagues most lethal. Kamara is a big reason why the Saints offensive attack is so deadly. Alvin has a chance to score any time he touches the ball. The New Orleans Saints should do whatever they can to bring him back.

Prediction: New Orleans Saints
