Larry Fitzgerald
When it comes to Larry Fitzgerald in 2021, there really are only two options; stay with the Arizona Cardinals or retire from the NFL.
Fitzgerald has made it quite clear that he will only suit up in a Cardinals jersey while he plays in the NFL. He is entering his 16th season this year after signing a one-year contract with Arizona.
There has been much speculation for years about Fitzgerald and retirement. But with Kyler Murray now at the reigns and the Cardinals landing DeAndre Hopkins on a trade this offseason, the workload on Fitz won’t be nearly as much as years past.
The problems come with the cap space amidst the COVID situation. The cap space might stay the same in 2021 and that would mean less space for teams to work with. You have to think Fitzgerald would have no problem taking a pay cut, but the future Hall of Famer also may do the Cardinals a solid and finally decide to hang the cleats up.
Prediction: Retirement
