Kenny Golladay

You know you have to be some sort of talented when you make undrafted QB David Blough look like a bonafide starter.

Kenny Golladay put up career highs in yards (1190) and touchdowns (14) in 2019. And that was with a combination of David Blough and Jeff Driscoll at QB for half of the season.

The Lions have one of the deeper wide receiver groups, with Golladay, Marvin Jones Jr and Danny Amendola. They also have about $22 million projected cap space for 2021. It makes for interesting situation next offseason.

Golladay will probably get a bigger offer from somewhere else. But if the Lions can figure their defense out and Matthew Stafford stays healthy, they have a chance to be real contenders. With the teams looking for wide receiver help, you most likely won’t find one that can pay for Golladay and has a better QB than Stafford. He may have to take a pay-cut, but Golladay should stay in Detroit.

Prediction: Detroit Lions
