Jordan Howard
Predicted team in 2020: Buffalo Bills
Prior to the 2019 season, Jordan Howard was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles after spending three seasons with the Chicago Bears. Initially, the plan was for Howard to be the early-down back in Philadelphia, with others also receiving touches.
But due to a shoulder injury and the emergence of rookie Miles Sanders, Howard saw his workload minimized at the end of the season. After his lone season with the Eagles, it appears likely that Howard will be playing elsewhere in 2020.
Ever since Sean McDermott became the head coach of the Buffalo Bills in 2017, their MO has been to run the ball and control the clock. With Frank Gore expected to leave in free agency, the Bills could look to add someone to share touches with Devin Singletary.
Compared to other options, Howard could likely be had for a cheaper price and could sign a one-year, prove-it deal in hopes to revive his career as a starter in 2020. There aren’t many teams that could give Howard a better chance to showcase his abilities like the Bills can.
