NFL Free Agency: Predicting where the top RBs will land in free agency

Predicted team in 2020: Tennessee Titans

The most sought after running back in free agency — if the Titans don’t re-sign him before then — is undoubtedly Henry. Over the past two seasons, Henry has become the focal point of Tennessee’s offense.

In his fourth season in the NFL this past season, Henry rushed for a career-high 1,540 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns. Additionally, he was the main reason why the Titans were able to advance to the AFC Championship Game in 2019.

At the same time, teams in the NFL are now becoming wary of signing running backs to lucrative contracts. Due to their short shelf life, most teams view running backs as an easily replaceable position.

Still, the Titans understand the importance of Henry to their offense. Standing at 6-foot-3, nearly 250 pounds, Tennessee would be hard-pressed to find a running back that can do what Henry does.

Besides Henry, Tennessee also has to make a decision on what to do with Ryan Tannehill. While it is unclear if Tannehill will be back, Henry should be dawning a Titans uniform in 2020.
