NFL free agent watch list: Who’s still available and where is their ideal landing spot?

Nothing about this year’s free agency has been normal. Initially, players were restricted from taking visits to team facilities and front offices/coaches couldn’t have their medical staff evaluate free agents prior to signing them because of the Covid-19 protocols that were originally implemented.

The way things sit now, coaches are free to host a player for a private workout. However, the NFL has limited the number of players allowed on training camp rosters, set at 80. But each team’s practice squad has been increased to 16 players — four more than the previous number set at 12 over the last several years.

With the NFL staying on track with their initial schedule to start the first game of the regular season on Sept. 10, there still leaves several free agents who could serve major roles in 2020.

Here are the top 10 free agents remaining and which landing spots they would fit the best in.
