For a multitude of reasons, the NFC South landscape is now drastically different than in years past. It’s shaping up to be one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL with the Saints and Buccaneers looking ready to contend along with the Falcons and Panthers.

Two mainstays at quarterback, Cam Newton, and Jameis Winston, were both deemed expendable as their respective teams moved on from both former No. 1 overall picks.

Their replacements are now Teddy Bridgewater with the Panthers, as well as the undisputed G.O.A.T., Tom Brady now a member of the Buccaneers. The division winner last year was the Saints, who appears to be going all-in with Drew Brees in what may be his final go-round in the NFL.

And lastly, 2016 NFL MVP Matt Ryan remains a top tier quarterback statistically but has not found much team success with the Falcons as of late.

How will each of these four quarterbacks fare in the NFC South this season? Let’s take a dive into each’s specific team situation and predict how they might perform.
