All four teams in the NFC South made some key additions that will impact the division in the 2020 NFL season. The New Orleans Saints have won the NFC South in each of the last three seasons while the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will look to challenge.

New Orleans signed Drew Brees to a two-year, $50 million contract in March. They also added Emmanuel Sanders on a two-year deal in an effort to win another championship with their future Hall of Fame quarterback.

The Panthers have arguably the top running back in the NFL in their backfield in Christian McCaffrey. They hired Matt Rhule as head coach and now have Teddy Bridgewater under center.

The Falcons are another team that shook up the running back position. Perhaps the biggest news in the league came out of Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers signed Tom Brady and lured Rob Gronkowski out of retirement. They also added another veteran in the backfield that we will get to later.

The NFC South is wide open in the 2020 NFL season. All four teams have big-name options in the backfield. Here, we will breakdown what to expect from the running back groups in the division.
