Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers’ offense featured two 1,000 yard receivers last season in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Jameis Winston led the league in passing yards with over 5,000. The only issue was that he threw 30 interceptions. In 2020, the Bucs will have an improvement at the position with Brady. Gronkowski will join and give the Bucs another weapon in the passing game.

In 2019, the Buccaneers’ run game was an issue. They finished near the bottom of the league with 95.1 rushing yards per game. Jones finished with 724 yards and six touchdowns. Peyton Barber added five touchdowns but ran for just 470 yards. Barber is now in Washington and Jones will be back as the starter in Tampa Bay. ESPN projects Jones to rush for 821 yards and six touchdowns.

The Buccaneers added LeSean McCoy on a free-agent deal. McCoy spent 2019 winning a Super Bowl ring with the Kansas City Chiefs. He carried the ball 101 times for 465 yards and four touchdowns. His role in Tampa Bay will be similar to how the Chiefs used him along with Damien Williams. At 32 years old, McCoy is not the three-down back he used to be, but he can still be productive as a backup in the NFL.

The Bucs’ offense has a chance to score points in bunches with Brady under center. Bruce Arians is a coach that likes to throw the ball down the field and open up the playbook. If he has effective running backs, the playbook opens up even further.
