The Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the New Orleans Saints by a score of 31-24 on Thursday night, marking their fourth straight win. The Jaguars are now 5-2 on the NFL season and sit first in the AFC South.
Jacksonville was considered by many to be the favorite in the division going into 2023, but a rough 1-2 start that featured a 37-17 loss at the hands of the Houston Texans had many questioning just how good the Jags actually were.
Well, since then, the Jaguars have been silencing their critics, and quarterback Trevor Lawrence was sure to make that known on social media following the victory over the Saints.
Lawrence is typically reserved, so to see him make this type of post indicates that he has obviously heard the outside noise and was clearly annoyed by it.

The third-year signal-caller went 20-for-29 with 204 yards and a touchdown in Week 7. Lawrence was facing individual criticism himself earlier in the season, as people were questioning if he had regressed as a result of a fairly rough start.
On the season overall, the 24-year-old has thrown for 1,643 yards, eight touchdowns, and three interceptions while completing 67.4 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 92.8.
Lawrence, who played his collegiate football at Clemson, was selected by Jacksonville with the No. 1 overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft. He was disappointing as a rookie, leading the league with 17 picks and throwing just 12 touchdowns while registering a passer rating of 71.9.
