NFL: One burning question each team in the NFC North must answer

NFL, NFC North, Bears, Lions, Packers, Vikings
NFL Analysis Network

The NFC North is shaping up to be a two-horse race during the 2020 NFL season. The Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings are both neck and neck as favorites to win the division, while both the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions seem to be on the outside looking in.

But things will be very interesting in the division. The Packers failed to provide Aaron Rodgers with any help and instead drafted his replacement. The relationship between Rodgers and Matt LaFleur was shaky as is and who knows what mindset Rodgers has now.

The Vikings traded away a disgruntled Stefon Diggs, losing one of their best wide receivers, and lost some of their best defenders. The Bears don’t know which defense will show up in 2020 – the dominant one in 2018 or the below average one from 2019.

The Lions had a ton of turnover on defense, trading Darius Slay and not bringing back guys like Damon Harrison and Devon Kennard. However, they brought in Desmond Trufant, Jamie Collins, Danny Shelton and Reggie Ragland, in addition to trading for Duron Harmon.

The NFC North hasn’t had a back-to-back division winner since the Packers’ run from 2011-2014. The division is up in the air, as it’s been for the last few years.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at one burning question each team in the NFC North faces ahead of the 2020 NFL season.
