The 2020 season will be an intriguing one for the AFC West with the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers all facing intriguing storylines. This group appears to be one of the more fascinating NFL divisions to monitor.
The only team in the AFC West that managed to post a winning record in 2019 was the Chiefs. Not only did they go 12-4 in the regular season, but also included a historic postseason run that featured many electric comebacks and ultimately a Super Bowl victory.
The Chiefs are positioned to have another highly successful season in 2020. As for the rest of the division, they must turn offseason intrigue into actual results in the win column. That is often easier said than done in the NFL.
While each team in the AFC West ended up making some favorable changes to their roster, there still are weaknesses they all face. Some certainly are more burdensome than others depending on the team, but no team is perfect, nevertheless.
