Cincinnati Bengals
After landing former LSU superstar Joe Burrow with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals’ attention shifted to surrounding him with the best possible talent on offense. This alone should put the AFC North on notice for the long-term.
The wide receiver position will play an important role in Burrow’s immediate success in the NFL. The top two roles will go to A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd, but there is more to figure out when it comes to the third receiver role.
It’s expected that John Ross, Auden Tate, and Tee Higgins will be the main competitors for the this role in the Bengals’ offense. So far, Higgins has been a standout for Cincinnati in training camp and he could be gaining momentum to earn the role.
It may not be a matter of if for Higgins to make an impact for the Bengals during his rookie campaign, it may be just a question of when. If his he can turn flashes from training camp into impact in the regular season, it wouldn’t take long.
