Jamal Adams, New York Jets
Arguably the biggest no-brainer on this list. Jamal Adams has already requested a trade from the New York Jets and has a list of six NFL teams where he would like to be traded.
As much as this is another step backward for the Jets (amongst the many they’ve experienced throughout recent years), this can be another way in which they can boost their continued rebuild.
Adams is one of the best cornerstones that a team can have on its roster. And with that, he will come at a high cost for New York to sell him. It’s likely going to be a first-rounder paired likely with a mid-round pick/a player.
As much as the trade of an All-Pro caliber player like Adams will affect the play of the defense in the short-term future the return from the trade of the two-time Pro Bowl safety can be good assistance for their long-term future.
