One player each team from the AFC South could trade before the season

Houston Texans: RG Zach Fulton

The first team up on this list, the Houston Texans, is also the one who infamously trades the most players, as Bill O’Brien has made more moves than anyone since officially becoming the general manager. This time last year, the offensive line was the consensus worst group in the league. That is, until a trade for Laremy Tunsil and drafting linemen with their first two picks helped mitigate that idea.

Somewhat surprisingly, the Texans were the only team in the league in 2019 to feature an entire offensive line group that graded higher than 70 in pass protection. Deshaun Watson still takes a lot of sacks due to his penchant for holding the ball longer than necessary, but his vastly improved group upfront is undoubtedly helping his development.

However, the one Texans player whose name has been mentioned in trade or release talks is right guard Zach Fulton, despite the fact he graded out as the sixth-best right guard in the aforementioned category.

There are two main reasons for the trade chatter, both revolving around his relative value. The main thought here is that his four-year, $28 million contract will pay him $7 million this year, which is the 17th highest for guards in the league.

However, another reason to move him is the availability of Pro-Bowl guard Larry Warford, who was recently cut from the New Orleans Saints. The Texans are rumored to have interest in Warford, and if an agreement is made then Fulton is likely to be moved.
