Jacksonville Jaguars: EDGE Yannick Ngakoue

Though the speculation surrounding many of these players are merely rumors, the Jacksonville Jaguars are certainly the most likely to trade their respective player. Yannick Ngakoue was given the franchise tag in March and has made it as clear as day that he does not want to continue his professional career in Duval county.

Let’s not forget, Ngakoue has been seen trading jabs with the Jaguars’ front office on Twitter, going as far to say “Tired of the back and forth @Jaguars. Let’s get this **** done” and “#FREEYANN”.

Currently slated to make $18 million this season, Ngakoue has been an incredibly valuable asset to the ‘Sacksonville’ group but is obviously not wanting to take part in a full team rebuild. Calais Campbell, A.J. Bouye, and Jalen Ramsey have all been traded by the Jaguars since the 2019 season began, and the complete overhaul of the roster may not be done yet.

The services of Ngakoue will be in very high demand, as pass rushers drafted in the 3rd round that provide 37.5 sacks in four years don’t exactly grow on trees. The more challenging aspect of this trade for the Jaguars would be finding the right partner and collecting as much value in return, as he holds all the leverage in these negotiations right now.
