Jeff Heuerman, Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos made it a real point to add more talent to its offense. While the wide receiver position caught most of the attention with the selections of Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler, the tight end spot some attention that was perhaps unexpected.

It’s clear that Noah Fant sets the tone for the Broncos at the tight end position. With the selection of Albert Okwuegbunam in the fourth-round of the 2020 NFL Draft, there isn’t a need to have Heuerman on the roster. Let’s not forget, there already has been rumors about Denver potentially looking to move on from Heuerman.

The Broncos felt a need to upgrade at the tight end spot and the former third-round pick from the 2015 NFL Draft just hasn’t been enough. Denver added a more dynamic receiving threat with speed in Okwuegbunam that will complement Fant in their passing attack.
