Dallas Cowboys — Tony Pollard

There’s no doubt that Ezekiel Elliott is going to have a massive workload for the Cowboys once again in 2020. However, Dallas could choose to deploy Tony Pollard a bit more in the backfield as he enters his second season with the franchise.

Ahead of Pollard’s rookie season with the Cowboys, Elliott was amid a holdout with the team, making it a possibility that Pollard would start in his place. Nevertheless, Elliott would sign a long-term deal, making the fourth-round pick out of Memphis a complimentary back alongside the All-Pro back.

In his inaugural campaign, Pollard would scamper for 455 yards and two touchdowns. With teams in the NFL leaning toward having multiple running backs handle backfield duties, Pollard could see some more touches in Dallas’ new-look offense in 2020.
