The race for the AFC South division is always a tough battle. Although the Houston Texans have been the victor for two straight seasons, the Tennessee Titans are coming off of an AFC Championship appearance.

The AFC South is often overlooked. However, it is one of the toughest divisions in the NFL. Often it is these rivalry games that decide who makes the playoffs. This season will be no different.

While the Indianapolis Colts, Texans, and Titans scrap for a playoff spot, the Jacksonville Jaguars once again find themselves in rebuild mode. However, they are not as far away from success as many predict. Jacksonville has a ton of draft capital and it appears Yannick Ngakoue may be on the move shortly.

However, Ngakoue may not be the only Jaguar worth trading. Look for Jacksonville to make another trade before the start of the season.

While the Jaguars focus on their future, the three other teams in the division are in win now mode. Each team has talent, but they are all missing a few pieces. Some teams may be looking to add rising stars. Others may be looking to add reliable veterans.

Each comes at a price and some teams have a lot more to offer. It will be interesting to see how the Texans work the trade market with a lack of draft capital.

Next season should be one of the most interesting NFL seasons to date. There are plenty of teams looking to make a championship run this season. Three of them stem from the AFC South. Each team could add to their championship hopes by adding new talent via trade.

Here is one trade each team in the AFC South should pursue before the season starts.
