Atlanta Falcons

Alex Mack joined the Falcons in free agency back in 2016. He has been a staple along the offensive line ever since. Entering 2020, Mack will be in the final year of his contract and carry a $10.5 million cap hit.

The Falcons have a leader along their offensive line with Mack. the 34-year old is a veteran player who knows how to be a voice on and off the field. Atlanta could ultimately choose to make a business decision and find a new place for Mack.

The Falcons have names like Justin McCray and James Carpenter on the bench as backup options. Overall, embracing one of those backup options could help clear salary-cap space.

An offensive line is extremely important, especially for the Falcons since they need to protect Ryan. This is a chance to look towards the future and get some return for a strong center.
