The AFC North has a lot of intriguing storylines relating to the quarterback position. Each of the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers have plenty about this spot to monitor in 2020.
There’s nowhere else to start other than with the reigning MVP, Lamar Jackson. The upcoming season should feature more reliance on passing in the Ravens’ offense. Can he follow up his 2019 campaign with another incredible year?
The No. 1 pick is always well-worth monitoring and is especially the case with the Bengals and Joe Burrow. He completely took over College Football in 2019 with LSU and will look to hit the ground running at the NFL level.
Baker Mayfield is coming off a disappointing year with the Browns after heading into the season with such anticipation. With Freddie Kitchens no longer in the picture, Mayfield will look to bounce back in a major way in 2020.
There isn’t anything Ben Roethlisberger has to prove from a career standpoint. However, it will be interesting to see how effective the Steelers quarterback will be after a season-ending injury at 38-years-old.
