Drew Lock, Denver Broncos

One of the common picks from NFL experts to have a breakout season at the quarterback position is Drew Lock of the Denver Broncos. There is plenty of factors that will be going his way heading into the 2020 season.

Denver had one of the most anemic offensive attacks despite having a Pro Bowl wide receiver in Courtland Sutton. They totaled 3,115 passing yards (28th) and 16 passing touchdowns (32nd) last season.

By adding Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler into the offense, Lock will have far more to work with this season. That will help him to expand his impact in his first full-season as a starting quarterback by turning flashes into consistency.

There is more help for Lock in the backfield with the addition of Melvin Gordon to take into consideration, too. There is a real one-two punch in the Broncos’ offense between him and Phillip Linsday that will open up the passing game more n 2020.

2020 Prediction for Drew Lock: 3,615 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
