There is plenty to likes about the talent that will be playing around Tyrod Taylor in the Los Angeles Chargers’ offense during the upcoming season. However, will Tyrod Taylor be enough and will he be the starter for the whole season?

Those are two questions that can only be answered as the events of the 2020 season unfold. There seems to be possibility he simply doesn’t provide nearly dynamic enough of an impact. He will need to take more chances and show that type of potential.

The Chargers have become accustomed to the ‘boom-or-bust’ impact of Philip Rivers and it’s going to be a drastic change to go from that type of gun-slinger quarterbacking to a talent like Taylor. It could feel underwhelming if he plays it safe like he did with the Buffalo Bills.

It doesn’t help Taylor that the AFC West has a variety of offenses that could put up big numbers in 2020. The Chargers will need the impressive defense they’ve managed to build over recent years lead the way because Taylor likely can’t keep up.

2020 Prediction for Tyrod Taylor: 3,050 passing yards, 19 passing touchdowns, and 4 interceptions.

Bonus: 450 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns.
