Having a capable backup quarterback in the NFL is a luxury that not many teams can say they have headed into the 2020 season. On the other hand, there are a select few teams that can legitimately say they’re comfortable with their current backup quarterback situation.

It goes without saying that all 32 teams would prefer not to have their backup quarterback log a single snap over the course of a season. However, if an injury occurs or the starter struggles, then a team may need to turn to the guy holding the No. 2 spot on the depth chart.
