3. Bears Sign Robert Quinn

Quinn spent the first seven year of his career with the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams before going to Miami. He was traded to Dallas prior to the 2019 season and excelled immediately. Quinn finished with 11.5 sacks with the Cowboys. He cashed in on an excellent season by signing a five-year, $70 million deal with the Bears.

The Bears were in need of some pass rushing help but it was not at the top of their list. Regardless, they added an All-Pro pass rusher opposite Khalil Mack. Chicago released Leonard Floyd prior to his fifth professional season and completely upgraded with the addition of Quinn. He has averaged nine sacks per year during his nine year career. Quinn will be 30 years old when the season begins but it looks as though he has plenty left in the tank.

The front seven in Chicago was elite before the arrival of Quinn. With him in the lineup, they will be one of the top in the game. It will be interesting to see the impact that Quinn has right away and how often he can get to the quarterbacks in the NFC North.
