1. Zack Martin, Dallas Cowboys
Martin already has a Hall of Fame résumé. Since entering the NFL in 2014, Martin hasn’t missed a Pro Bowl. He’s also earned either a First or Second-Team All-Pro selection each year of his career. While Quenton Nelson might be the most popular guard today, Martin is the most accomplished.
To put Martin’s achievements in context, it took Marshal Yanda 13 years to make eight Pro Bowls and seven total All-Pro teams. Nearing his 30th birthday, Martin already has six Pro Bowls and All-Pro selections to his name. His four First-Team All-Pro selections double Yanda’s.
CBS Sports’ Tyler Sullivan ranked the best interior linemen heading into the 2020 season. Three representatives from the NFC East appeared. Brandon Scherff ranked fifth while Jason Kelce came in third, and Martin finished second. Nelson claimed the top spot.
Martin isn’t the only member of Dallas’ offensive line who received consideration for this article. La’el Collins and Tyron Smith both ranked in Sullivan’s top-ten tackles entering the 2020 season. However, with Smith battling injuries and having not made an All-Pro team since 2016, Collins is Dallas’ second-best offensive lineman.
Even with Collins, Martin, and Smith, the Cowboys don’t possess the NFC East’s best offensive line. That title goes to the Eagles.
